This filter is advised by the Department of Occupational Hygiene (ISPSEL) in their guidelines for prevention of biological risk in dentistry. It is certified by the University of Parma and has been tested against viruses and bacteria in suspension (eg. Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia Coli, Enterovirus), resulting in complete elimination of the bacterial cell charges in the samples examined. It also sterilizes the water supply in the dental unit.
Furthermore, it protects the micro-engine, turbine and the electric valves from possible obstruction caused by micro-particles in suspension. It is also certified NSF with total block of all micro-particles above 0.02 micron.

The Koala filter is easy to install in all dental units, it is free of chemical agents, does not release any substance in the water and is ready-to-use.

INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fix the KOALA filter to the dental unit with the clamp. It can be positioned horizontally or vertically.
2. Close the main water supply to the dental unit.
3. Unscrew the cold water tube connected to the dental unit.
4. Connect the cold water tube to the out connection of the KOALA filter. This is an 8 mm joint and may need an adaptor.
5. Connect one of the tubes furnished to the in connection of the KOALA filter and the other extremity of the tube to the in connection of the cold water to the dental unit. This is an 8 mm joint and may need an adaptor.
6. Open the main water supply to the dental unit.
7. Check all the joints for leaks.
8. Let the water flow for about 5 liters to fill the mechanism of the filter.
9. The KOALA filter is now ready to supply 8000 liters* of tasteless, odorless and bacteriologically sterile water.
